Winter is here! Time to revamp the wardrobe; Trends for Women

So to say, it's the end for neons for 2013! Pack them up because they'll be back next summers. And let's say hello to Pastels and Earthy colours.

I have always enjoyed winters more than summers just because I can layer more, and of course the colours are always such that I can relate to more, and yea also the time I don't feel odd not being able to run in heels :|

So here are few major trends for Fall/Winter 2013-2014:

1. 50 shades of grey

Easy to say: not everything is black or white in winters. The pallete runs from charcoal to slate grey. Also a lighter grey can be a good neutral for this season.





2.  English Gardens

 Flowers aren't drying up this time, A lot of them are being used as mains this season. From big bold blooming flowers to small pansies; techni-colour roses to mono-chromatic flowers,it's just floral all the way!




3. Tartan it up!

 The major trend this time is the run to Scottish Highfileds to get those Plaids and Tartans out. Not to forget the traditional checks. And this pattern is not just for clothes it also runs through all accessories.





4.  A Safari Trip

Animal print has been moving around since many seasons but this time its gone to the African Safari. This season is not only about the "animal" as the print. It's interesting to see Leopard and Cheetah print coming back!





5.  Get Leathered

Leather is going to be everywhere, Black leather to be to the point! Yes, it is an extension from the Summer of 2013 and will go on till the next summer. If you aren't a big fan of leather in clothing keep it minimal in zippers, collars, bows!







6. Ankle length trousers

The best trousers for this season are tapered peg! It is one silhouette that flatters all figures and because of the centre crease it gives a slimming look to the leg. Also since it shows the best feature of the leg- ankle; it's stunning!




7. Floor it!

Absolutely nothing looks more stunning than a floor length dress, not necessarily a gown a maxi dress can do as well. They are indeed very impactful!
