It's all about men! Winter 2013 edition

The trend for men for Autumn/Winter 2013-14 is pretty much the same as women's!

Basically, if you follow Johnny Depp blindly, you'll be doing really well. His dressing is the perfect playboy and nature inspired.

Also to not forget that 60's-70's are playing a major role this season, invariably a lot of geometric print will be seen!

 Here are some major trends:

1. Claret for men

 It's an unexpected entry this season but is definitely the most common seen colour this time. It's time to embrace this colour either through separates or if you really feel like it, go head to toe in it! Though a dark red would look perfect with another complementary colour. This hue could range between a burgundy to a magenta!






2.  Animal Instincts

Now if you thought that animal print will not make it to menswear, whoa hey! Think again! It's here and it's big. But only if you are daring enough you indulge in an safari print outfit, otherwise keep it safe and invest in trims or accessories.






3. Scottish visit

 If women have plaids and tartans or checks why would men lag behind. This trend is not only for shirts it can also be seen in outer-wear and/or trousers to make it interesting.





4.  The olden times

The fashion of 60's and 70's have left a very deep impact on menswear this season. The trends the olden era has left for men this time are leather, skinny cuts and monochromatic pallete.





5. Pleats

Well hello then Pleated pants! Despite the love for straight cut, slim fit, flat front trousers, this time it is all about the pleats. And they are here to stay for long, at-least till summer 2014. These should be the investment.





That's with the major things for men for The winters, of course don't forget to get your sweaters and cardigans out, again V-necks are to be the highlight and good for layering!

Confused? By the talk of "layering" in menswear- well most men are! Let's fix that... Layering is a great way to combine your favourtie pieces and wear something  comfortable and flexible, while showcasing your sense of style.
