The shoe must go on...

I follow some shoe rules! There are few kinds of shoes that everyone should have in their shoe closet! These are basic. You have these 10 and you are basically good to go.

So here goes the Ten footwear styles :

1. The Flat Sandal:

Probably known more common as the thong flats/slippers. Perfect for summer to wear with ankle jeans, a skirt or a dress.

They are super comfy and can be extremely stylish. Pick them up in bright colours, embellished with stones and/or dainty, intricate straps.

2. Espadrilles

Another shoe that is fun for summer, adds height without the wobble and is capable of being paired with capris, shorts or a dress is the espadrille.

Flat espadrilles are also an option for summer casual chic attire.

TOMS are the best example for one!

3.  Ballet flats or loafers/slippers

Tired of running around in your heels but you don't want to compromise on style? Ballet flats spell chic. Pair them with summer dresses, denims, or tunics. Pick them up in vibrant colours to make a statement. These are a wardrobe essential.

While still feminine and slim-fitting, the slipper (often called a loafer without the tassels) is also a wonderful flat style to choose as it is available in many styles, colours and textures.

4.  The nude peep toe/pump

Every woman needs a high heeled, single-soled shoe the colour of her skin. If you get the tone right, the shoe fades into the silhouette.

Whether with jeans, a dress of any colour, or an outfit of any colour, this is the pump you want to make sure you have in your closet.

5. The classic black heeled pump

A black pump is perfect for work with a wrap dress, sheath, suit or trousers. Pointed toes tend to elongate your leg and work ideally with cropped pants, but either will do depending upon your outfit.

A pair of sexy black pumps can easily take you from the market to your workplace and straight into a part or a formal dinner.

6. Kitten Heels

The height these shoes provide is perfect for those days when you know and want to look feminine, yet have tired feet from wearing sky-high heels all week.

7. The strappy heels

These types are perfect for a day wear. The straps, draw attention to the best part of the foot, the high arch! Any material, any colour, one of these is a must for the wardrobe.

8.  The statement shoe

Some days you want to make a statement, and this is the perfect shoe to do that in, should be as quirky as they can be!

If quirky is not your thing opt for a bright neon colour.
The purpose of this shoe is to make your outfit look paler, just because sometimes shoes need to talk!

9. The classic boot

This is something more climate based, but if you live anywhere it gets cold, this is a
win-win

Whether it is a flat boot or a boot with a slight heel, it is classic. There is no need for embellishment, buckles or crazy additions because that always dates the piece and makes it harder to wear with a variety of outfits.

There are many ways to wear a pair of stiletto boots – with a dress/skirt, tuck a pair of skinny jeans inside (perfect day or evening) or wear with a pair of boot cut jeans.

10. The Uber heel

Very exaggerated heels! Ain't no heel high enough ;)

They have existed for a long long time in the fetish world, Yes aren't the most comfortable things but are good when you ate bored and not by the fire or sea!

That's the 10!

But also, a pair of running shoes are important! A trendy pair will probably make it easier to get up in the morning to go for that jog that we think about every night!
